Meatloaf with Maple Glaze

 Ingredients:

3/4 lb lean ground turkey
3/4 lb lean ground beef
1/2 cup milk
1 package dry onion soup mix
3/4 cup plain bread crumbs
1 egg
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup maple syrup

Directions:
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 2 quart baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.  In a large bowl, combine turkey, beef, milk, soup mix, bread crumbs, egg, and pepper.  Mix well. Shape mixture into a loaf in the baking dish.

Bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes.  Meanwhile, in a small bowl combine ketchup and maple syrup. Drizzle half of sauce over the top and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes.  Let stand 5 minutes before slicing.  Serve with reserved glaze over slices.

8 servings
Notes: Any combination of meat is fine.  I typical use a pound of turkey and 1/2 pound beef.
